Mike is now with the Lord, but his impact in the world will always remain. I will miss seeing and talking with him, but we will always be connected by the Spirit of Christ which moves in us. Michael blessed me by giving me the nickname of "Hurricane" after preaching a special sermon. Michael and his family welcomed me with open arms as I began to connect with the Calhoun community. He reminds me of the scripture Matthew 25:35-36, for Mike fed the hungry, clothed the naked, helped the sick, and encouraged those in prison. Michael was an awesome man of God, with a beautiful spirit. In the voice of Mike " God want put no more on us, than we can beat".Īs I remember my Brother in Christ, I have to smile. Pete, Mary, brother, and sister we are all left with examples Of his life and we to have been left with precious memories that linger Linger,Linger! And the presence of God always.
